Virtual Human Modeling Research, Action-oriented Analysis

Since the 1990s, with the rapid development of information technology which is taking technology of the computer as of the pillar, modern IE begins to study the new law between the factors of production, and seeks the theoretical foundation in order to create new IE technology. The relation among people and other manage resources become the most important research field. It must solve the question of human's compatibility and the enhancement of productivity under the high efficiency facility conditions. The ergonomic is just an interdisciplinary science that studies mutual function between the human, machine and environment in the production system. It is specialized elementary knowledge and an important branch of the IE.Ergonomic already had more than 70 year's development history in overseas. It obtained the widespread application in the manufacture process. The introduction of the computer technology offers the new method to research of engineering. What technology of the computer assistants to ergonomic is mainly in two respects: method and application. In research approach, it directs against the traditional limitation in obtaining the experimental data and result of research approach, puts forward effective solution, and makes these methods computerization; In ergonomic application, it applies the experimental result of ergonomic and the analysis of method and standard to product design, workspace design and design of the man-machine system in the form of computer software tool.My paper is based on the application aspect. It takes 3D human modeling that faces ergonomic as the main research content, and discusses an overall frame of Computer Aided Ergonomic Analysis System. Its concrete work as follows:First, the paper elaborates the basic knowledge of ergonomic and the relations between ergonomic and industrial engineering. The man-machine simulation system makes it visible that the dynamic process of the man-machine mutual affection and carries on the quantification analysis and the appraisal to the man-machine factors with the full use of each kind of evaluation criteria and the algorithm of ergonomic. The result of analysis and appraisal will be further used to design and improve the man-machine system until achieving the ultimate objective that enhancing working efficiency of the industrial engineering.
