ABSTRACT:In recent years, in order to reduce the pressure on urban traffic, many cities are investing heavily to the construction of rail transit system. Metro train driver’s desk is the human-machine Interface of the train operation, the design of the human-machine Interface of driver’s desk affect the safety and efficiency of driver’s operation and train operation.Firstly, the existing man-machine interface of metro train driver’s desk are analyzed in ergonomics, build the appraisal model of the ergonomics factors for the driver’s desk, and the ergonomic factors of driver’s desk are analysised according to the result of questionnaire survey.Secondly, this research analyses the importance and use frequency of the divice according to the result of metro train driver’s desk research, combining with the analysis of the corresponding device in normal driving tasks and abnormal driving task, the metro train driver’s desk device is divided into three levels, and these provide the basis for subsequent desk layout design. The device selection evaluation of metro train driver’s desk is done based on the ISO-9355, and the devices selection evaluation results are obtained in combination with driving task.Thirdly, a mathematical model is developed for driver’s desk layout based on human factors and geometric matching for layout optimization problem of metro train driver’s desk, then the particle swarm optimization algorithm was designed to solve the model. A preliminary solution have been proposed for a driver’s desk which has22control devices, two displays and four indicator lamps, and the layout plan design have be done for the metro train driver’s desk with three kinds of escape doors. Finally, a flexible experimental platform and man-machine matching experiment evaluation questionnaire are designed for the metro train driver’s desk man-machine interface matching evaluation. The experiment collected20subjective evaluation datas of the staff who to be tested in two different metro train driver’s desk, the reliability and validity of experiment data and the results are analyzed.
