| By consulting and analyzing many relative technical articles abroad and native, this article introduces a new automatic technical performance test platform based on some prevailing test equipment from the reality of the current performance test for TV transmitters. This platform can simplify the test program and decrease the test cycle than that of manual testing formerly; it can not only promote the test quality and velocity but also test the transmitter's performance while it is on air. This platform can also provide much more security while on air than before. In the end, this article discusses the viewpoint of the platform using for future digital TV transmitters.At first, this article introduces the theory of the current prevailing transistorized TV transmitter, then it explains the main technical performance parameters and how these performance parameters can affect deterioration to picture and sound of TV set. It also introduces the test measure and signal based on national standard.Then this article provides a new automatic test platform in order to solve the problem by manual operation that based on some most prevailing test equipments and computer. It also introduces the theory of video and audio signal generator, TV demodulator, video analyzer (VM700T), and the serial communication protocol between VM700T and computer. First it makes out the new work project; second it executes the hardware setup and then the software programming. In the end of this article, it discusses the future use about the platform for digital TV transmitters.The new platform accelerates the test velocity and monitors the quality of the video and audio signals o f transmitting that we can find the problems that we can see and can't see on the transmitters immediately while it is on air, this platform can also provide much more security while on air than before. This article can also help to cover the technical gap comparing to abroad, and it has a prospective future and most valuableusing ability. |
