C / S Mode And B / S Mode In The Campus Development Of Mis Binding Strategy

At present,the developing mode of data-base has turned from the early single computer mode, two tier C/S,to tri-tier (or even multi-tier ) distributed C/S and B/S developing mode. Among them ,B/S mode can be regarded as an special example of tri-tier distributed C/S mode,for they all keep the sever (data layer) of original database as usual while separation of interface and business logic rules is made in clients under traditional C/S mode. So the fat -client become a thin-client (view layer) who only have the interface, as well as the business logic part is put into the application server(logic layer, with appearance of Web server under B/S).As for development of the college MIS project,this article firstly compares the advantages and faults of C/S and B/S developing modes in detail, introduces a developing mode combing C/S and B/S according to the analysis of project's function and the requirements of system for simple operation ,frequency of operation,responding speed and security .And then,it introduces dbExpress+DataSnap of Delphi 7 and APS.NET of MS Visual Studio .NET2003 to relize the technological points of two-tier C/S and tri-tier B/S. The interface technique under C/S and B/S mode is emphasized too. Finally came function analysis and systematic design for college MIS project,and also the detailed procedure for realizing the technique program combing C/S and B/S together while taking the achievement management module for example.Conclusion:the developing mode couldn't be changed until it met the requirements of MIS system.The pattern of no-state object connection ,the advantage of B/S,allow more clients to visit at same time.But there are still some problems in corresponding data speed , sacurity, mutual serviceability between clients and interface.Therefore,it will be appropriate to combine C/S and B/S mode together.
