| In recent years, automatic fingerprint identification technique has been a research focus in the area of science. Many researchers have done much work on fingerprint identification. However, in the current fingerprint identification algorithm research process, algorithm researchers can only be based on their own algorithms research environment ,so different algorithms will lead to clearly different research environment development, which not only consumed a lot of time and energy, but also seriously affect the research's efficiency.In view of this situation, we choose fingerprint identification algorithm research platform development and application as a research topic, and develop a fingerprint identification algorithm research platform, then use the platform for some of the algorithms research. Papers mainly as follows:First, it's the theoretical foundation and platform design and realization of fingerprint identification algorithm platform. We use MVC design patterns, idea of workflow, software development idea of plug-ins. According to the status of research on fingerprint identification algorithms, we design and develop fingerprint identification algorithm support platform. There are many innovations in the design of the platform. The platform will logically divided into three general sections: algorithms, algorithm research tools, algorithms and algorithms research tools operating environment. They are completely separated, which are linked together through algorithms link models. In essence fingerprint identification algorithm research platform supporting auxiliary tools are merely algorithms and algorithms operating environment for algorithm research, which provides a unified operation interface in the world logic.
