Sensor placement is one of the key topics addressed in sensor networks, it can place effectively nodes of sensor networks and cover reasonably the field for sensing data. It can also prolong running lifetime for sensor networks. It can not only collect accurately data information for sensing field, but also manage adequately the resource for sensor networks. It has a wild application future. This paper introduce characteristics about deployment for sensor networks and present issues about deployment and relative algorithm for sensor networks. It expatiate on development process up to now and development tendency for the future about sensor networks.Static sensor deployment algorithm use Genetic Algorithm to make certain least sensor numbers in the whole sensing field. And discussed obstacle and non-obstacle and analyzed theoretically. The experimental is presented to validate the efficeieny of algorithmlIn mobile sensor deployment algorithm ,we present algorithm that use Voronoi diagrams partition sensor field . For a given number of sensors, the algorithm deplyment sensor to maximize the sensor field coverage by sensor moving. This paper use Voronoi diagram to discover the and the coverage hole,and base the coverage hole characteristic pesent a parallel mobile sensor self-deployment algorithm..experiement is present to validate the effiiciency of algorithm...
