Electronic Reader Driver Design And Implementation

With the development of semiconductor technology, more and more equipment become intelligent, and the embedded system is the way to make the various equipments become"intelligent". Nowadays, embedded system has effect every domain of our work and our lives, in which it plays a very important part. Everything beside us, from the aircrafts, motocars to remote control and mobiles, they all have an embedded system work in. Except continue working as an important part in the traditional industry management and telecommunication establishment, embedded system also become more and more important in home electrical appliance, medical treatment equiment, digital camera, multimedia player, personal digital assistant etc.Embedded system consists of embedded mircoprocessor, periphery hardware, embedded operation system and the user's application programme, it's used for other equipments'controlling, monitoring and management. The most typical point of embedded system is that it's closely related to our daily lives, every single one may hold various electronic products which have embedded technology work inside. In fact, there are much more embedded system equipments than general computer in quantity.The research and development of embedded products that adapt to the users'requirements become one of the most important strength to push the computer technology forward in this PC age.This paper is based on the E-BOOK project. Firstly, I introduce the hardware and software platform of embedded system, and explain the basic hardware and software development, it's a cooperate process.Then I analyse the cross development method for embedded system,mentioned the"Host"and"Target"in the development of an embedded system.Take E-BOOK project as an example,follows the process to introduce a real embedded system project,including the MCU, periphery hardware and the integrated development environment which can provide the whole platform for an integrated development on the PC--WB33.Then I present 3 of the hardware of E-BOOK.For LCD,I introduce the common feature of LCD, the SSCT LCD as well as the design, actualize of its driver.For the RS232 serial port,the principle of the serial port and the main driver of it are introduced.For Flash memory,I introuce the principle of NOR Flash and NAND Flash, and how their drivers implemented.In the end,the conclusion of this paper is generated,there is also a prospect for further research.
