The application of DVB system is developing rapidly. The DVB-C system based on the HFC, whose client is personal computer can provide an access to fast receive data for the PC users. This system has been carefully researched and its primary contents as follows: the dirver of a receive card, the architecture and developing method of a source capture filter,a MPEG-2 transport stream parser and an audio-visual filter.The driver for the receive card is characterized by using the class libraries and the configuration of the USB SDK. It means we can configure the CyUSB.inf file for the CyUSB.sys device driver, then use the CyAPI.lib to support the communication between the PC and the USB device that are served by the device driver.The design of the bridge depent on a source filter based on the pull-model technology in the directshow has been completed. The bridge can continue push the DVB-C transport stream coming from the receive card to the universal media player to display online.In order to be compatible with the data rate in the bridge, the parser must have these functions: identifying the format of each elementary stream(ES); repacketing the ES frames or packets into small samples; timestamping each sample for decoding and delivery by the arithmetic of getting the PTS of an audio frame.At last the audio-visual filter can get and regroup the PCM audio data which transformed into the time-frequency signals by the FFT. At the same time the power spectrum can be displaying on the windows by using the win32 API functions.Finally the test of this system shows the processes about transport stream of receiving in the collecting card, pushing in the bridge, separating in the parser, displaying in the audio-visual filter are satisfied with the data rata at the server. All these characteristics have reached to the prospective requirements. The problem of receiving DVB-C transport stream and playing in the PC has been completely solved. So there is a project provided for the TV stations to broaden scope of their data businesses.
