| Electroencephalogram (EEG) is a measurement of the time-varying potential differences between electrodes fixed on the scalp. EEG is commonly used in the research of brain function and the diagnosis of clinical disease, and is one of the non-invasive techniques for the research of the brain electrical activities when the brain processes information. It is important for life science, especially for the study of neuro-physiology and neuro-psychology. It will bring great influence to learn the electrical activity of the brain.Since EEG was discovered, many processing techniques have been widely used to study EEG. Presently. there are many software for EEG processing and analysis, and some particular methods for EEG analysis are integrated into the software. These software tools accelerated the EEG research greatly. Based on our study on EEG in the past ten more years, the work mainly about developing a new EEG processing software, which including not only the traditional EEG processing techniques, but also some developed by ourself. The software mainly realized the following functions: forward problem, source localization and some other important pre-processing techniques. This thesis introduces the system frame of the software, the realized techniques and the corresponding results gotten from these techniques. |
