How to ensure electronic equipment for fulfillment of set function (namely, reliability) under stipulated conditions and within fixed time, it is basic responsibility of engineers and technicians. The reliability of product and system exists in isolation; it is affected by a lot of link and factor. It can be known from concept of reliability that the environment is the first essential factor of reliability design and analysis. Various kinds of electronic equipment, especially military electronic equipment, have a numerous and complicated assortment and different performances, in every link of storage, transportation and carrying out a task they must go through the quiet severe trials of environmental conditions (including climate, mechanism and electromagnetism, etc.).Directing against such environmental conditions, which may be gone through by military electronic equipment, as temperature, humidity, salt fog, calibration, vibration, shock and height etc, this paper researches the influence and mechanism of environmental factor on product. Combining practical experience of many years in production and scientific research of military electronic product, the research on method and requirements of environmental adaptability design of various main environmental conditions, especially, such these adverse circumstances as coastal, highland and desert is performed.Applying the results in this research subject, the author devised the schema for environmental adaptability design and reliability design of many important projects (for example: system product of western system and product of anti-adverse circumstances for ATC, etc) of the factory No. 783, and the environmental adaptability test verification and reliability evaluation test, trial and use in external field have been passed.
