| Boolean process theory, which was proposed in 1994, is a theory mainly used on design and testing of high-speed circuits and it can be considered as a time field expansion of Boolean algebra. Boolean process can be used on IC timing study and analyse, but some craft brothers in other countries questioned its feasibility. This paper explained the physical meaning of Boolean process, and built an experimental basis of Boolean process. We used SPICE to simulate the voltage waveforms in circuit, and did simulations on example circuits, and the simulation result was identical to the result calculated by Boolean process, so Boolean process was verified by experiments. In the same time, we got some parameter value of Boolean process by experiments. Having hazards is a disadvantage for circuits, and many methods have been brought forward to eliminate it, but using these methods will lead to much overhead in circuits. This paper focused on the primary outputs hazards produced by a transition on one primary input, and gave a method and a software to eliminate or reduce such kind of hazards with little overhead. This method focused on the timing behavior of circuits. If a transition passes two paths with much different... |
