With the fast development of modern technology, X-ray image have been widely used in the field of medicine,secure detection,scatheless detection and crack detection ect. The image of digital X-Ray Fluoroscopy has low contrast and blurred edge. The detail of image is difficult to be observed, and it is hard to be diagnosed. Thus there is great need to have a real-time image processor to do some noise reduction and image enhancement with the image of digital X-Ray system.As the part of research projects named movable digitizing x-ray image system, the dissertation opens up study of real-time digitizing x-ray image processor system.In the first part of this article, we introduce the history, development, current situation of the X-Ray image technology and the research background and tasks of this article. The main target of the second part is to study the theory of the digitizing X-Ray image system, and we go deep into study X-Ray imaging algorithm including image enhancement and noise reduction based on the theory and the characteristic of the X-Ray image. In the third part of the article, we designed the hardware of the high distinguish real-time image processor to meet the goal of image algorithm.The fouth part is to achieve real-time image processing with FPGA and DSP. With the help of DSP, FPGA in the instrument of VHDL language and the chart of principle has the function of accumulation of images of in sequence, gray-scale transformation, convolution implementation, homogeneous background processing and so on. The image processor has carried out the noise reduction and image enhancement with the image of digital X-Ray. Finally, we give out the result of the experiment.Now the image processing system has already run correctly, the quality of the X-Ray image can be improved greatly by the real-time image processor. We can get image with clear-out, better contrast and brightness, and it meets the standard of practicality.
