With the fast development of modern technology, X-ray image has been widely used in the field of medicine, secure detection, scatheless detection and crack detection ect, and has shown a large market potential and a bright future. The image of X-ray fluoroscopy has low contrast and blurred edge. The detail of image is difficult to be observed and it is hard to be diagnosed. Thus there is great need to have a real-time image processor to do some noise reduction and image enhancement with the image of X-ray Fluoroscopy, and the image is made to come up to the standard of medicine.In recent years, the development of DSP (digital signal processing) technology has put the theory achievement of digital signal processing field into practical application systems and pushed the progress of new theory and application. At the same time, it plays an important role in the field of image processing. The DSP-based image processing system can be applied in many kinds of practical fields, in the medical field,in order to improve the contrast and brightness of image,enhance the details, lower the probability of misdiagnosis, it more needs research the system of real-time image processor. So it's meaningful to research and analyze medical real-time image processor. Nowadays, many company and constitute are developing the system of medical real-time image processor based on DSP.Firstly, this article study the theory of the X-ray image system and the characteristic of the X-ray carefully, and we study X-ray imaging algorithm including noise reduction, image enhancement based on the characteristic of the X-ray. Secondly, the author discusses the problems about the hardware platform of real time X-ray image processor realization. DM64X, produced by TI Company have so strong capacity of parallel processing and signal processing that it is considered to be just the ideal platform. The dissertation gives the whole system scheme based on DM642 and also some design of real time some key modules, and these work establish a well hardware platform for the realization of real time image processing. Finally, the author discusses how to write module driver in DM642, and adopts suitable for X-ray image processing algorithms of 10 bit image process to realize the image processing, and the experimental result of this system is given. To facilitate the host computer to read the image file as an information on the preservation, at same time achieve the SD card file system.Now the image processing system has already run correctly, the quality of the X-ray image can be improved greatly by the real-time image processor. We can get image with clear-out, better contrast and brightness, and it meets the standard of practicality.
