News of people's Livelihood focuses on the living conditions of general people and social political, economical and cultral constructions related to them. In recent years, people's livelihood news, focusing on general people ,becomes the most common used news expression method , extending from tv to plain media and from triffle livelihood to big one. Meanwhile traditonal paper news media, newspaper, plays an active role in transmitting news in people's livelihood. Lots of news, holding the leading position in media and winning general public and market, makes a great influence in society. There is much mature theoretical study about TV news ,however there is little study in newspaper .Thus being precise and taking advantage of others and own experience ,this essay illustrates livelihood news systematically and all-roundedly and puts forward distinctive views. .This essay makes use of enumeration and description and the combination of theory and practice, addressing in five parts. At first, give the defination and connotation of newspaper livelihood news. Secondly, analyse newspaper livelihood news multi-anglely and summarise its characters. Thirdly, analyse the misunderstanding of paper livelihood news. Forthly, illustrate how to organize paper livelihood news practically. Last, probe into the direction of paper livelihood news development, indicating the concept from livelihood news to public news and further probing into that public news is only a stage in the development of livelihood news, but not an ending.
