| The Civic TV News has been favored by many TV stations of cities, and created miraculous high audience rate in the recent five years. Meanwhile, it appears to be a lot of problems that worth being noticed by academic and practice profession. From the view point of value orientation of news reporting and the judge of news values, and according to my own practicing experience in producing civic TV news, this paper analyzes both the successful and failed cases of Chinese civic TV news in recent years. In addition, this paper tries to offer a new creative definition for"text of civic TV news", with a critical sight into some real problems, for example, the abundance of civic TV programs and the trend of entertainment in civic TV news. Finally, it aims at finding the terminal standard for the judge of civic TV news values, and forecasting the report tendency of it in the future. Furthermore, the analyses in this paper become more significant, and guide our media serve the Party and people better.There are four chapters in this paper. In the first chapter, it describes the background for the birth of civic news, and offers a new creative definition for"text of civic TV news". In the second one, it analyzes the deflection of media value orientation in civic news reporting, as well as the present situation of civic TV news under the notion of"audience rate is everything". In the next chapter, it intends to supply measures towards the returning of civic news reporting orientation. In the final one, it forecasts the future trend for civic news. |
