Expert system (ES) is an important subject in artificial intelligence field, and actively in more than 20 years developing process. At the present, expert system has already been got widespread interest in every domain, but because of the complex development, multitudinous modules and strong background, expert system is hard to reuse in different fields. In other hand, object-oriented (00) is one of the newest technologies in present computer development. The most important in object-oriented technical is encapsulation and inherit. If we can use the characteristic of object-oriented to improve the reusability of expert system, it is worth recommending very much.This article designs and has been realized an expert system model based on the Windows platform, through deeply research of the expert system and object-oriented technical. We use object-oriented technology to develop this expert system module; include basic unites i.e. knowledge base and reasoning system. After researching in many kinds of traditional knowledge expression, we propose a kind of improved object-oriented knowledge expression - knowledge object, and apply it in the expert system model. This kind of expert system model is based on knowledge object. It especially suits to solute complex questions which contains of many kinds of objects simultaneously, and effectively in solving forecast questions under multi- conditions. Therefore it is a kind of forecast expert system model.The basic concept of this article: firstly using 00 knowledge expression as the carrier of knowledge, then using procedure knowledge as the second component of rule knowledge expression, in order to improve the controllability of procedure knowledge; thirdly integrating rule knowledge and 00 knowledge as a new kind of integrated knowledge expression.
