Nowadays for the rapid development of grid technology, we have got a better way for resource sharing. Grid Technology makes the sharing configuration more flexible, and sharing category more abundant. At the same time, the sharing performance has been promoted so that the requirements of enterprises can be satisfied more easily. As the development of manufacturing, manufacturing grid has been a nature trend for internet manufacturing.Manufacturing Grid(MG) is an integration support environment which is used for sharing and integration of resources and services in enterprises and society. It is built based on grid technology and related advanced information technology. Many kinds of resource that are distributed in many different places such as design, manufacture, management, information, technology, intelligence and software are first encapsulated and integrated. And then many manufacturing services are offered to uses by a transparent way. Manufacturing service is different form static resource. It stands for some material function such as machining, design, sell and so on. Services can be published by some way. Descriptions and interfaces of services can be exposed outside and then users can find services they needed more conveniently. The aim of MG is providing manufacturing service for the business enterprises. Integration and discovery of services are primary issues in research of MG. In the paper, we carry on a detailed discussion to these problems. And a service registry is built to validate our thoughts.In MG, we adopt criterion and technology of UDDI for the integration and discovery of service.
