VR(Virtual Reality) is an up-to-the minute technology which integrates with computer graphic technology, multimedia technology, sensor technology, interaction technology between human and machine, network technology, solid display technology and simulation technology and so on. Based on the VR technology and the rule of actual combat and visual simulation, the article presents a project of designing the trainning system for antiaircraft forces operation command.Firstly, the research background of the trainning system for antiaircraft forces operation command is discussed. The necessity of simulation(VR) for operation command in the course of trainning is clarified. The platform of developing the system has been put forward after introducing the VR technology. From the point of view of practicability the composing of hardware system is given . In the software system the scene display module is emphatically designed. According to the need of constructing aerial defence combat environment , the methods of weapons' and aerocrafts' solid modeling are particularized. The methods of controlling air objects' movements , observers' switch , weapons' action, pills' fly and targets'being hit are studied. To enhance the fidelity of combat environment , manifold realizing techniques of special effects and audio effects are presented. To enhance the antagonism of system , the BUMP method of collision examing is used for designing the control of the air-to-ground attack. To realize the system's network communication, the communication module based on Socket API has been designed. At last, the circs of using the trainning system for antiaircraft forces operation command in some military units are briefly introduced.
