Distance learning whitch based on the streaming media technology is a new approach to education. However, the streaming quality is generally unsatisfactory, mainly due to the traditional streaming media system based on C/S framework easily lead to server-based performance bottlenecks, and can not effectively support the large-scale streaming data distribution.
