| With the rapid extension of computer application domain and continuous increase of software cost and complexity, the software crisis is more obviously exposed; the most important thing is increasing the software productivity and quality. As the development of object-oriented technology, software reuse, which is considered to be a main resolution to software crisis and enhancement of the software productivity, has become the focus of software engineering. At present, software reuse is mainly focusing on the reuse of component.Firstly, this paper introduce the background and research progress home and abroad on this topic including the component model, the component production based on domain engineering, component library and system development based on component. Secondly, domain engineering is applied to city traffic domain, many traffic components is extracted and realized based on FODM and UML modeling. Thirdly, the classify and searching method of components is analyzed, then traffic components' classifying mode is constituted, at the same time, traffic components is upload to JadeBird Component Library to be managed. Finally, based on component technology, some main functions of Dalian Rapid Response System is developed. The main process is as following: Analyze the functions and runtime environment, constitute the structure and architecture of system, build the application function feature model based on domain feature model, extract and implement components with UML, coordinate relationships between components and deploy the system components on application server.The result of this paper indicates that the traffic system based on component has great flexibility and expansibility, with an enhancement of performance. The applying of domain engineering makes foundation of software reuse based on component in traffic domain. Traffic component can avoid much duplicated work and also provides a reference for software reuse based on component in other domains. |
