Map Xtreme Flight Positioning Monitoring System Design And Development

The development of WebGIS is importance development direction of GIS .Web GIS is a hotspot during GIS development currently, and it is a new technology which extends and consummates GeographicalInformation System using Internet technology. Its core technology is toembed the HTTP and TCP/IP standard into Geographical Information System and accomplish manage the spatial information in the environment of Internet and other function of Geographical Information System. So the development require that WebGIS not only have the feature of manipulate each other but also have the characteristic of transplanting expanding and strideing flat roof.This thesis starts with the affection of Internet on GIS,introduces the conception and basic principle of Web GIS frstly, then dissertates the methods of developing Web GIS such as CGI, ISAPI, Plug-in, ActiveX, Java ect and the main platform of Web GIS in detail relatively, and it emphasis on introducing the structure of MapXtreme for java.At last,the thesis introduces a client application named HWJ WEB GIS 1.0 which is developed by JBuilder using the digital map of the ChangJiang based on the platform of MapXtreme for Java. The application uses Java Applet as the core and combines the API provided by MapXtreme for Java to issue the digital map on the web. HWJ WEB GIS 1.0 has finished some basic function of the map such as zoom in,zoom out, pan ect, and some advanced function such as spatialquery, navigation ect.And it has been tested the issue of the digital map on the web in the machine, the result is as the expected. The thesis systematically concludes WebGIS theory, analyzes the technical difficulties of 3D visualization based on WebGIS, and designs the technical project to realize terrain 3D visualization by Java3D in the 3-layer network frame.
