Design And Implementation Of Internet Building Exhibition System Based On WebGIS

Currently, WebGIS is becoming a main application of GIS technology. It can collect, manage, analyze and display spatial data. Once we take advantage of its features to construct our Building Exhibition System (BES), the short description of location and environment in existing system can be rapidly improved. Moreover, user can make some special analysis of building to afford their choice, such as romancing map in classes based on building price or building location. This paper mainly discusses some important technology, such as GIS, WebGIS and panorama roaming, puts forward a method of designing BES in Internet. Then function modules, architecture, data structure, soft and hard environment setup are carefully analyzed and designed in this paper. By using java applet, servlet, jsp and javascript technology, BES system implements city-GIS based on B/S structure, and systematically researches soft model of BES with combining functions of WebGIS and panorama roaming. Finally, this paper deeply discusses some key technology and methods used to implement this system.
