As the development of the IP net,Videophone will be universal.Under this background, we designed the Videophone terminal based on the DSP.The terminal has the IP videophone function and standard PSTN telephone function at the same time.Within the control of GK and GW, it can make visual and audio phone call with videophone and the normal call with PSTN phone.IP broadband videophone involves various video, audio and net standards and technologies. This report mainly analyses the standards and technologies related to videophone, and helps to choose an appropriate protocol subset according to the product requirements. Moreover, using limited resources develop a competitive product.This project focuses on the practical engineering design and development, whereas the academic research is a plus, and thus mainly talks about the technologies and realization related to IP videophone according to practical condition. Meanwhile, from a high-level standpoint, the combined manner of self-development and external cooperation is undertaken. The research and development tasks are high-effectively deployed in schedule. The reports will aim at the oneself at item in of following several work contents of compose:1. Videophone system compare and make selection2. Videophone system hardware structure and the system software designs3. The realization of different audio codec by software based on DSP4.
