For detection of broadcasting program quality, it is of great significance to identify the components of broadcast signals. And signal analysis and spectral analysis are two methods. However, the broadcast television signal spectrums become more complicated, with the development of the digital communications technology and Internet. Hence, that how to reduce the time spending on analyzing them becomes a major challenge.The broadcast television signals are not a single form of signals, but a mixture of all kinds of forms, like FM signals, digital signals, analog signals, ect. In addition, traditional signal analysis methods focus on analyze the frequency spectrums of signals(to transfer the complex time history waveforms into some signle harmonic components, via Fourier transform, so as to get the frequency structures of signals and phase informations of the harmmonic components). However, in such a fast-paced society, the traditional methods can no longer meet the demand. Therefore, we have to explore more effective and effecient spectral analysis methods, in order to identify the components of signals.This thesis focuses on solving the problem mentioned above, and also tries to improve some other functions of this techonology. Major works are as follows:1. Use TCP port communication solution to collect data from the spectrometer and design a communication program to control the spectrometer in order to realize remote control of it2. Use two different methods to collect data at the same time to ensure the reliability of the data.3. Use the C Program Language as algorithm to ensure the portability of the spectrum analysis process, instead of being confined to system or platform4. Study the general spectrum analysis method and combine the method with the basic television signal theory to test the algorithm5. The time spent on collecting data is within 5 seconds based on this program6. According to the program above, chosen Deli spectrometer as accessory, when the designs of algorithm routine and communication program software of the spectrometer are finished, the program can be realized. Nicely portable and operable, the spectrometer analysis algorithm designed in this thesis realizes remote control of spectrometer. Thereby spectrum analysis is freed from the restricition of space and system.
