Wireless Data Terminal Based On Remote Mining Reading System Design Studies

This paper puts forward a design scheme which makes use of the microcomputer ARM technology of 32 bits, the wireless communication technology and Internet technology in Teledata- Collection. In this design, Collection from field devices carry out through the serial port RS232, reports these data to the remote gateway in the system in the communication way which is CMDA or SMS. These extend the system's applied scope and generality.The wireless Data Terminal Equipment of The Teledata- Collection is based on PHILIPS LPC2138 microcontroller which has a 32 bit ARM7TDMI-S? kernel. With the larger build-in high speed Flash memory, the embedded real-time kernel μC/OS-Ⅱ can be transplanted, and then under this operating system, some kind of applications, such as communication, has been compiled and realized. The software platform of this System has been built. On the platform, Multitask applications had been researched out for the weather data collection system.In order to improve the reliability and extensibility, the communication way adopts CMDA and SMS during the gateway and DTE. This improves the system's quality.
