Abstract/Summary:
This thesis presents the design and implementation of an Air-Borne Data Acquisition and Record device based on RISC chip AT91RM9200 with ARM920T core and embedded operating system Linux.For the sake of Air-Borne facility, high reliability is demanded strictly. For improving reliability, compactness must be required, so choosing a processor with multi-interface to reduce peripheral circuit could achieve high reliability. Applying embedded design on this Application system is inevitable. The Air-Borne Data Acquisition and Record device researched in this thesis is an embedded system based on 32-bit ARM microprocessor AT91RM9200 produced by Atmel. This device could Capture many kinds of parameters when aircraft is in flight in real-time, it provides basal data and information for flight-test.Start from discussing the main function and technique demand, we come with our solution based on ARM-Linux platform, give a brief introduction of ARM microprocessor, ARM920T core and AT91RM9200. We take the thought of "core board- motherboard", build the hardware system which is taking AT91RM9200 as the core, the core board includes some basic circuit which is necessarily used in an ARM system. The motherboard entends many user interfaces, such as Enternet port, USB, UART, LED and so on. We analyze the module of Data Acquisition based on the microprocessor C8051F020 in detail and introduce the method of sticking accurate time label by GPS. And then we research the transplant of the Linux OS, Uboot will be complied and loaded, the kernel will be configured, cut, and then complied, the file system will be built. U-boot is necessary because it will load kernel and file system to the target board. After that, we disuss the flow chart of main software in this system. At last, a sum-up of this embedded system is given.It has proved that this system has the following performance such as high stability, high reliability, low consumption and low cost. This system has satisfied all requirements of an Air-Borne test equipment, and has realized the anticipated purpose.
