It is a hot topic to research the virtual laboratory and its application in teaching using modern computer technology. Virtual laboratory is a system which is based on computer network, using network to connect the virtual instruments, and can collect data, analyze and operate remotely. This system has the characters of transparent, resource sharing, interpretative, user independently, expansibility and security. The virtual laboratory is beyond the traditional laboratory in these.The correspondence and management is an important problem in constructing a virtual teaching laboratory. In the virtual laboratory, the communication between all kinds of data needs a good correspondence mechanism. Scheduling management is the key of the serialization working. In order to meet the demand of the correspondence and management of the virtual laboratory, the research on these has a broad application value.First, this article has analyzed the design principle, functionalities and design goals of the virtual teaching laboratory;Also, designed the overall construction of the virtual teaching lab system, including the network system structure and the software system structure, and has carried on the detailed design to the system function module. Second, compared with good and bad points of the existing several means of correspondence, the correspondence mechanism which this paper used is determined. Based on this, developed a subsystem of the virtual teaching lab system which can support broadcast, multicast, unicast and can support the communication of multiplicate messages.In view of the multi-users characteristic of the virtual teaching lab system, the multi-thread scheduling mechnism of the virtual lab system has analyzed and designed in this article, and fault-tolerant technology is discussed briefly.Finally, through 8255 input/output experiment of the computer component experiments, the prototype of the system is given. The experiment indicates that the communication subsystem this article designed can meet the basic commuinication requirements of the virtual teaching laboratory, and this technology is feasible, it also has certain theorical value and practical value.
