The development of the information technology leads the change of the production in the modern companies and factories. The IT technology has been one of the main factors for surviving and developing the enterprises. The modernization of a company must be on the foundation of the informatization. The enhancement of the production efficiency must be with premise of the informatization too.During the process of the informatization in the enterprise, the networking technology is the field which nobody can avoid. In the fast-developing networking theories and applications, the networking multicast owns its most important condition. The new theory and protocol of the multicast continue to appear. On the other hand multicast technology has been used more widely and popularly in the social production and life.Unicast is the other important field in opposition to the multicast, it also spreads widely. It can support robust and stable data transmission, so it is also used popularly in the human production and life.This thesis studies the new achievements in the field of network data transmission. It designs and constructs a new data transmission system with high performance on the basement of the mixed technology of the multicast and unicast through the procedure of present condition analysis, demand analysis, infrastructure design, module detailed design and performance evaluation. The thesis use IP multicast mode to develop the system by the C# language on the.NET platform. The system runs on the windows 2003 or above and the windows vista version or above.The system which the thesis developed uses a mixed solution of the multicast and unicast in order to advance the performance and reduce the energy consumption. It not only has the advantage in the automation and reliability compared to the copy machine, but also has the superiority of the high performance and energy saving to the simple unicast data downloading system.Both the system and technology in the thesis has the realistic value for the enterprise of the notebook computers production. Furthermore the theory and technology of the thesis can be applied widely and developed well in the applications of network audio-on-demand and the video-on-demand applications, network meeting, distant multimedia education, network virtual community, network games and so on.
