In my paper It is introduced the development of data mining research in the domestic and foreign firstly, and in allusion to the complexity of the chemical production process and the characteristic of the data, it is prospected the future of the chemical engineering using data mining. Then it is analyzed the basic strategy of the succession production using data mining, and discussed the application of searching algorithm based on the connection-rule, the decision tree algorithm and the viewdata technology in the optimized control. By analyzing and comparing the advantage and disadvantage of each searching algorithm which is based on the connection-rule, and combing the actual characteristic of chemical industry, an innovational searching algorithm is chosen to discover the intrinsic rule of chemical production through mining the experimental data.The decision tree algorithm is the one active research domain of DM, and it also is one of the most popular algorithms in data mining. In the paper we discussed the decision tree based on the C4.5 algorithm, and obtained the method to find the attribute of point and the way of how to carve the attribute value. It is the focal discussion to use the viewdata technology to optimize the level of chemical production control in the paper, because it not only can show the distribution law of knowledge characteristic and reach the best analysis result, but also can show the whole course of data processing and data analysis to user. Based on the analysis of the methods of data mining, it is explained the possibility of discovering the optimized systems in the succession chemical production, and in the end it is indicated the tendency of the great influences which are the effects on the development of the industrial control by data mining, and it also indicated several problems to be solved which have influences on tendency.
