Studying is a procession of obtaining knowledge and building new self-cognition structure for learners according to educational psychology. The major task of this paper is researching on how to use the affluent E-learning resources on the Internet to build personal learning styles for learners and give them adaptive tutoring service in order to make them study efficiently. The technical methods of research has adopted the following parts: building a course domain knowledge system which has the following features: learning content and learning building system represented respectively; content structure and its media form represented respectively; learning content and knowledge represented respectively; domain knowledge system built on the basis of the related course. And also, learning building and navigation system is built upon the foundation of the knowledge representation and organization.The domain knowledge system has adopted a three-layered structure of ontology conceptual network, knowledge framework and data material. Ontology conceptual network could represent the basic concepts and their relations in detail. The categories and complicated depending relations among knowledge can give associations and inferences for building learning content and navigation; Knowledge framework model represents compound structure which could reunite differently according to different learning modes; data material adopts SCORM standard, all those materials which are in accordance with this standard on Internet have given affluent resources for composing the content of knowledge node.User model is the basic foundation for researching personal learning and navigation. The model includes two parts: static information and dynamic information. Static information records user's personal information, learning tasks and studying habits which could become the reference for initiating learning content and decides the priority of materials; dynamic information records behaviors of user andit updates during the procession of learning, it decides the adjustment of learning content and adaptive navigation.Another essence issue of research task is building an intelligent navigation system based on the knowledge model and user model. System has designed and realized different navigation strategies such as personal leaning content creating navigation, knowledge hypertext links navigation, learning state hinting and user learning routine navigations. These strategies are mainly based on the relations among knowledge, user features and user's current mastering state, so that they have functions of users' behavior analyses and intelligence inferring and then have adaptive features.The paper has given key technologies and detailed algorithms design, also, the system is realized on the course "C programming language".
