By the developing of Internet, computer viruses propagating by the net grow very fast. These viruses make use of the advantage of Internet and bugs of computer system and have become the most important threaten to computer system's security. Research of this article including the technological characteristics, its' propagation model, defense strategy and precaution system.First, a comprehensive description about general computer virus and network virus is provided. Based on that, the specialties and developing trend of network virus is analyzed. Then, defending system against computer network virus and its' new technological trend is analyzed. All these lead this article to a right direction.After that, the technological characteristics of some representative viruses is researched in detail, which includes worm virus, Trojan horse and Venomous code in the internet homepage. From the researching, the similarity among network virus is found and these are the guide of building network virus defending system and selecting appropriate network virus defending strategy.On top of that, the propagation pattern of computer virus on the network is discussed. Starting from the basic behavior pattern of computer virus, a mathematical model is made, whose origin is a biology viruses infecting model. After the simulation on Mat lab, it can be seen that this work is essential to build up an appropriate network virus precaution system.At last, the popular technology about computer network virus detection and information and network security is summarized. The following network virus defending strategy is formed and a distributing network precaution frame is built. At the end, a network damage standard is brought out.
