1553b Simulation Based On The 386ex Cpu Development System,

1553B data bus is a military standard data bus. It is widely used to buildelectronic network system in aerospace engineering and 1553B tester is highlyrequired. At present, there are many 1553B testers on the market, but those productsare not restricted real-time systems and its flexibility and function of data analysis ispoor. To overcome those shortcomings, this paper described how to develop a 1553Bsimulation and test system based on 386EX CPU. It is used to simulate and test1553B bus communication protocol in aerospace engineering. Based on the fruit thattheory of hardware card being designed successfully and some simple programs fordemonstration, this paper perfected hardware and independently developed softwarerunning on 386EX CPU and PC.Method about how to develop software running on 386EX CPU and PC wasdescribed in this paper. The software running on PC is windows application softwarewhich provides functions such as setting bus message, setting running mode, real-timemonitor, saving communication result, replying communication, analysis and so on.VxWorks embedded operating system runs on 386EX CPU. Application software runson 386EX CPU is highly real-time, and it manages and uploads messages in wholecommunication. Both application software works normally and cooperate towards therequirements we expected early.The fruit of this paper can be widely used to simulate and test 1553B buscommunication protocol in aerospace engineering.
