The Non-scanning Laser 3-D Imaging is an innovative technology in 3-D imaging area. It breaks out of the conventional scanning 3-D imaging approach and plays and will play a revolutionary role in military and civil fields. This paper mainly illustrates the principle and system scheme of the Non-scanning Laser 3-D Imaging technology, as well as two realizing approaches, that is, Triangular-wave Modulation and Square-wave Modulation. Furthermore, based on the Square-wave Modulation, the paper introduces hardware scheme on the system controlling circuit, including the interface signals, chips selection, and the thinking on circuit design, in order to synchronize the main devices of the system- the Laser, Camera, and Image Intensifier. In addition, the paper analyzes the principle and application on the Image Intensifier, the most significant device of the system, including the luminance gain and its influencing factors, as well as the signal-noise ratio. All mentioned about the Image Intensifier will play a guide role on the shot work in future. Moreover, based on the Square-wave Modulation, the paper introduces FPGA realizing scheme on the system controlling circuit, for example, the thinking on the programme design, the flow chart, the functions of the modules of the programme, and last, the simulation results. Finally, the paper concludes the work we have accomplished and gives an outlook on future task.
