Integrated Decision Support System For Component-oriented Technology And Its Commercial Applications

Decision Support System(DSS) is the high-level development phase of ManagementInformation System(MIS).It is a new subject that incorporate Operations research,Management Science, Behavioral science etc. DSS is a man-machine conversation systemthat help decision maker to make decision solve problems using data, model andknowledge. With the great development of the economic environment worldwide after1990s, it became an inundant trend that the corporations adapted information technology toimprove their ability to compete in the market, and DSS made progress and be applied onvarious fields.Though DSS has developed for years, we can say it's still immature. There are manyforms of DSS at present. Each has its strongpoint and shortcoming. Now that they aredeveloped in different ways, they will not get replaced with each other. So the synthesisDSS combined with their trait is the inevitable tendency. The component-base softwaredevelopment(CBD) method provide us with a new way.This paper make researches on the architecture, function structure and each part ofDSS, and put forward a DSS framework combined with the knowledge and characteristicof marketing and sales, and then pursued Theory and technical study. Finally I will build anarchetype of marketing decision support system making use of the CBD concept, also I willcomplete some analysis, design and programming of the system.
