Software is the spirit of Virtual Instrument(VI). VI has strong superiority in virtue of software's flexible and configurable structure. Because of this, virtual test system(VTS) has been becoming the mainstream of test field. But current design of VTS only considers the specific test task and functions, which results in developed VTS with poor reusability and interchangeability. When test task or test object changes a little, the VTS has to change in a large range, which also make it difficult for reliability and maintenance of system. In order to solve such problems, adopting mature component technology in software engineering, a new conception of virtual test functional components (VTFC) and a new method for developing universal virtual test system(UVTS) based on VTFC is put forward. The main works of this thesis are as following:1. The integration principle of UVTS the is put forward. The model of VTFC is designed, and the accomplishment ways of VTFC based on ActiveX are introduced. Last how to achieve VISA and IVI reusability and interchangeability are researched.2. The integration method of UVTS based on VTFC is introduced. The classification, retrieval, calling, assembling of VTFC are discussed.3. Performance test system of unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV) based on UVTS is realized. The hardware and software of the system are designed, and the optimization design of VTFC in real-time system is also researched.4. The technical features of LXI, a new generation instrumentation platform, are introduced. Three synchronization and trigger mechanisms for LXI devices are analyzed. The instrument driver and LxiSync API of LXI bus are also discussed.
