The Simulation Test Platform (STP) is an effective supporting tool for the design and development of embedded systems. With the help of STP, parallel development and co-verification can be realized, which helps to achieve the goal of speed up marketing time of the products and cutting system cost and reduce risks.The dissertation derives from the national 863 program "the research of technical environment for regional embedded software". To meet the debugging and testing requirement of developing embedded systems in computer-controlled fields, this paper mainly works on developing a STP by using hardware-in-the-loop technology to simulate controlled plant and environment.After the intensive study and analysis of computer-controlled system, this paper assembles the hardware system centering on industrial computer for STP, and designs the hierarchical software architecture which is high open and customizable using object-oriented technology, and then develops the software system by using key technologies including Data Visualization, multithreading. Data Acquisition, Database, etc.The research of the paper has already been verified and used in electro-pattern-sewing machine. It obtains a good application result, makes a comprehensive application value and generalizing value.
