As the development of LED industry and advancement of the testing method, a felicitous method is required for LED's photometric and colorimetric testing. This thesis introduces a system that can be used for detector's spectral responsibility, optical filter's permeation rate and LED's photometric and colorimetric testing.This system uses photoelectric diode and PMT as detectors, and a single-chip MCU AT89C51 is the core processor that manages data acquisition, fieldwork control, data communication, etc. PC analyses data and applies algorithms to get the characteristic parameters of LED, and then gives out the results of analyse in proper ways.The paper consists of 5 chapters:The first chapter is exordium, mainly states the background and meaning of this work, and what we should do in this work.The second chapter is summary of theory, introduces the testing principle and the algorithm.Hardware system and the testing scheme is designed in the third chapter. It expounds all of the subsystem of hardware, and provides the resolvent, then gives the testing sheme according to the hardware system.The software system is designed in the fourth chapter. According to the hardware system and testing scheme put forward in the third chapter, it expounds the software design scheme of this system, and analyses the resolvement of man-machine conversation, communication interface and algorithms.The fifth chapter gives some of the test results that deserved by this system, and anlyses the results .
