LED Matrix, as the basic elements of the LED display screen, is more and more widely used because of the kinds of lighting and displaying needs of the society. So its electric, photometry and colorimetry characters become the hot object to be studied.We designed the system of measuring general characters of the LED Matrix. The main work included is as following:1. The LED lighting theory and special characters are simply introduced at first. Then on the basic of the measure methods standardized by the national electronic bureau and used in the production, we propose some schemes to test the LED Matrix characters.2. We design the measure system according to the project plan. The whole system can be divided into electrical, photometry and colorimetry parts by characters measured, which is including luminous intensity, forward voltage, reverse current, color coordinate, peak wavelength and so on. It can also be divided into two parts, the software and the hardware. The hardware includes LED driving circuit, electrical characters measuring circuit, luminous intensity converting and amplifying circuit, data collecting and communicating circuit. Meanwhile the software includes SCM control, data collection, communication between PC and SCM and programs on PC. The two main parts corresponds with the chapter 3 and chapter 4.3. At last we use the system to measure the characters of LED Matrixes, one 8*8 dual color and one 5*8 red color Matrix, and analyzing the data coherence. On the basis of the LED display screen measure standard, we discuss the coherence of LED display screen, the factors involved, and puts forwards the opinion of coherence standardization. This standardization is also the problem LED factories have to face in the development of photo-electricity industry. The system can also classify the LEDs using the standardization.
