LED is considered to be the most valuable new light source.With the popularization and development of LED light source,people are more and more demanding on the quality of lighting.The requirement of measurement for the lamps with LED light source are also getting higher and higher.Based on the background and present situation of LED light source,the principle of measuring the photometric colorimetric distribution of LED light source is analyzed.In this paper,we propose a design of a small LED light source spatial photometric colorimetric distribution measurement system.The test system is composed of two parts:a two-dimensional turntable and a spectrophotometer.With the control of LabVIEW program,the two parts of instrument work collaboratively to complete the automatic measurement.The measurement system can be used to characterize the spatial photometric colorimetric distribution of LED light source.The measurement system can not only be used to measure the photometric colorimetric of LED light source,but also be used to measure the photometric colorimetric distribution of other small light sources or lamps.Comparing with the traditional test system of photometric distribution,this measurement system has the advantages of simple operation,small equipment,high efficiency,good versatility.In addition to photometric information,this instrument can characterize the spatial distribution of color coordinates,color temperature,color purity and dominant wavelength et al.It can obtain a more comprehensive photometric colorimetric distribution information and accurately evaluate the spatial luminescence characteristics of LED light source.In this paper,the measurement process and test method of the LED light source spatial photometric colorimetric distribution measurement system based on the remote phosphor LED light source are described.According to the measurement data of the remote phosphor LED,the parameters of LED,such as space illumination,light intensity,color temperature and color coordinate,were evaluated.We explore the factors that influences the photometric colorimetric distribution of remote phosphor LED light space.The experimental results show that the location of LED chip to produce different color temperature has great influence on the distribution of remote phosphor LED light source color temperature.The LED chips closer to the phosphor chip have more obvious impact on the distribution of the light source color.The shape of the remote phosphor and the relative position of the excitation light source and the remote phosphor affect the spatial light intensity distribution.Some suggestions on the design of remote phosphor LED light source are given.
