Remote control based-on wide coverage, wireless network of GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) is a focus of research in remote control field. This article combining the development of "The theft-proof and control system of mobile vehicle", expounds the principle of remote control based-on GSM. It comprehensively introduces the system composition structure and various modules functional design in development and design of "The theft-proof and control system of mobile vehicle". It thoroughly introduces using one-chip computer programming technology to realize the data acquisition and the device controlling, the code decoding function, and controls the GSM module realization data message transmission in remote control terminal. It also introduces the control center adopt high-speed LAN and C/S database technology realizing coordination processing, the operation jurisdiction distinction and the control dispatch. The control center integrates geographic information system (GIS) and the GSM base-station reference frame to realize the mobile terminal independent localization, and provides interface for mutual communication of the cell-phone and the system.This article analyzes the technology for the remote terminal parameter information, the remote mobile terminal localization information gathering, the technology of data message code and transmission involved in system in the course of designing and realizing. Here, the article introduces the function, relevant parameter standard, basis selected for use of GSM module, emphatically discusses the design for interface of computer or one-chip computer and GSM module, the design of operating function, the agreement of data coding, as well as the method of data transmission and mobile terminal localization, and so on.The article summarized the advantage of remote control system in wireless connection, two-way transmission, wide coverage, more user supporting, simple to expansion and maintenance, and the disadvantage in inaccuracy and unreal-time etc. thought of remedying these insufficiency is proposed. Finally, we discussed the basic design method of remote control system based-on GSM. Revise this system partly, can adapt to the application of more ranges, bring good social benefit and economic benefits.
