Bar Code-based Processing Of Cotton And Its Quality Management System Research And Development

As the important resource relating the national economy and the people's livelihood, cotton is paid great attention by all cotton production countries at all time. With the rapid development of modern information technology, some new demands for cotton processing and its quality information management are put forward.First, by analyzing and comparing with the home status quo of cotton production, inspection and circulation with abroad, the lack of domestic cotton quality inspecting system is found out and an overall project about how to realize modern management of domestic cotton quality information is got.Second, by analyzing the status quo of domestic cotton production enterprises and linking the trend of cotton quality inspection reform, a cotton quality information management system based on barcode technology and cotton processing enterprise's LAN is developed. Buying seed cotton, processing lint cotton, storing bales and selling bales are managed by the MIS (Management Information System) and it improves the information management level of cotton processing enterprises.Last, a remote debug and faults diagnose method using the pcAnywhere remote control software is introduced. An example is shown about how to diagnose faults remotely using pcAnywhere.The management information system has been tested and run by cotton product enterprises for nearly one year. This proved the system is stable and has friendly interface and abundant functions.
