The conception of workflow comes from the production process and OA(Office Automation),it is brought forward for the actions that have fixed processes during the daily jobs. Its goal is to improve the working efficiency and to reduce production cost and to improve the ability of management and competition with others by decomposing the work into well-formed tasks and roles, and by executing and monitoring the tasks following some rules and programs. The technology of workflow is widely and deeply researched as soon as it appears. By now, workflow management technology has been succeed in many fields, such as hospital, bank, insurance agent and library. Along with the development of e-Business and workflow, enterprises cry out for integrating the data scattered in heterogeneous storages and management information system, forming the intact data for itself, and then well combining the intersected systems, applications, processes to make out of an integrated enterprise application. One solution that is attracting a great deal of attention is the concept of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI).The method of Enterprise application integration is that enterprise contacts all the heterogeneous systems, applications and processes traversed the whole enterprise, and solves the interactive problems between different applications and protects former investments, and enterprise can integrate the old application system with limited investment and small-scale modifications and short time as impossible. The method also should offer a integration way which not only can convenience the integration and communication of different application systems in the enterprise, but also can easily integrate the new application into whole enterprise while adding new business in the future. At the present time, the research of EAI is mostly focused on data integration, whereas the research of integration on enterprise applications is lack correspondingly. Therefore, the research of EAI based on the workflow technology increasingly becomes the hotspot of our research, however, the great mass of integrations that to solve the enterprise applications are isolated to the enterprise applicationsthemselves,so the research of how to integrate the two parts becomes our tasks. To well solve the problem of enterprise application integration, we use Medical Insure System(MIS) as its background. Based on widely and deeply researching the workflow technology for -enterprise application integration, we propose a workflow model supporting dynamic interoperation for enterprise application integration. This model includes sub-process model, dynamic state transition model and inconsistency handling model. A formulated definition about this model is also given ,and we can see that this model is supporting dynamic interoperation. A typical instance using the model is set on the following. This paper also researches on the relative technologies that can be used in the realization of workflow for enterprise application integration, such as Web Services ^ Adapter design mode> JMSn XML ,and so on. All of these technologies can be widely used among enterprise business proxy layer, which is one of the layers in the social insurance information system, and convenience the exchange of the enterprise business process layer and enterprise business system layer. Finally, this paper applies the workflow model for enterprise application integration we designed into the social insurance information system, this system includes three layers: enterprise business process layer, enterprise business proxy layer and enterprise business system layer, then we analyze the interrelation of these layers. This system framework has an important leading on the designation and integration of whole information system.
