The Slave Server In The Nms And Implementation

Currently the Internet is growing explosively, more and more companies join their LANs into Internet. The complexity of the network administration is increasing, since some companies are far away from others. In order to solve the obviously network security problem, it is very important to develop a network administration system to manage the desktop system, user and solve network security problems efficiently. Research & implementation of slave server is one-subject of "large-scale network administrative". In the thesis, followed aspects are mainly studied.1) Some techniques such as SNMP, HTTP, proxy's basic theory and role-based access control are introduced.2) The network server techniques are studied thoroughly. Through analyzing and comparing different internal architectures of network server, it is emphasized that the multi-protocol & multi-service architecture is adapted to implement the slave server.3) In the web proxy service module, the automatic process pool model is designed to handle the client requests concurrently.4) Based on the research of proxy server working principle, the transparent proxy on Linux is implemented in the interna! of the server. The implementation of HTTP analyzing, cache management and log management have also been studied5) Based on deeply research on RBAC, with the SNMP service and RBAC model, a thought of access control model based on the role is brought forward for the characters of the slave server.At the end of the paper, a brief prospect for the future development based on existing system has been shown.
