With the rapidly developing communication and computer technology, the government depends on the computer system and network technology more and more. The E-Government system with the higher usability and the greater expandability and compatibility is demanded in order to reduce the maintenance cost of the system development. Recently, new technologies in computer area emerge continually, such as the Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), component technology, web technology and network technology. Making use of these technologies together can improve the usability and self- expandability of the system and reduce the total cost greatly. In the development of an E-Government system of an industry garden, the EAI technology, J2EE technology, XML technology and EJB-based component technology are applied to realize the high usability and expansibility of the system and to ensure the application integration of the reserved system at the same time.We study the theory foundation of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and then bring forward a technique scheme of EAI using XML technology based on J2EE platform. We also establish the development aim of the system, that is, an integrative enterprise application system will be built which can adapt to both the development of a new system and the whole maintenance of the old system. Finally, we summarize the problems which exist in the system and the further work. The emphases in the thesis:1 , The advantages of J2EE used in the programming of EAI systems; 2, Applying EAI integration methods in programming designs. 3, Cache strategy applying in optimizing EAI systems.
