Digital camera technology is a high and new-technology ,which assembles knowledge such as optics, electrics and computer technique etc. Along with the popularization of the digital camera as well as the improvement of the digital camera image element, it is possible to acquire the file information taken by digital camera ,which is input to the computer and computerized .It is superior using digital camera to scanning with scanner.The digital camera 's setting of the parameter is more flexible and the shoot rate is faster. It can shoot repeatedly .The image can be input the computer directly to save , dispose and print .And using ORC technology to recognize the character of the image ,transferring to readable files. This paper introduces the structure principle of the digital camera ,and the defined standard software protocol and application programming interface (API)for communication between software applications image acquisition devices of the specification of Twain as well as the standard of interface offering for the users by ORC SDK. It studies the specification of Twain , eztw32.dll and the interface specification which is offered for the users by ORC SDK. Based on the computerization of the digital camera ,it disposes designing the program in visual C++ and visual basic to acquire the image taken by digital camera and using OCR technology to recognize the printed characters and save as readable files at last. It is tested by the double-patterned USB digital camera. It can realize the management of the centralized computerization and net that of the vast of file information, and improve the management and application of the file information, and improve the work efficiency as well as the work activity based on files.
