| The article is background on TV guidance system, and researches the image compression technology that used for data-chain communication network of "human in loop" guidance system. This provides theory preparation and technology support for the development and experiment of the weapon system.First, the article researches the characteristic and technology requirement of the image compression used for TV guidance data-chain, and analyses several kinds of current video compression standards. Finally the MPEG-2 standard is selected for the image compression technology research and the software development.Second, the DCT technology of compression in frame and the motion-estimation of compression between frames is researched separately. The article analyses the key technology of them, tests the actual capability of arithmetic and validates the technology characteristic of each arithmetic. Video compression especial motion-estimation arithmetic removes mass of redundancy data of original image efficiently, and makes the real-time transmission possible. The research results indicates that "BBGDS" and "Diamond Search" arithmetic can reach a high level on compression rate, image quality and coding speed.At last, the practical software is developed with VC++ on PC platform by gathering all arithmetics together.The primary test indicates the correctness and validity of this software.All these make the foundation for the farther research. |
