This paper is affiliated one of the National Defence preparatory study task. Based on target recognition theory and signal processing theory, by making use of AT94K catena chips of FPSLIC system, a signal detection and target recognition system of MMW combined sensor was designed in this paper.Based on the martial application of MMW combined sensor, this design combines the theory of target recognition and the application of FPSLIC system and carry a further study on both hardware design and software programming .Considering the highly requirements of real time in the system, in this design we choose AT94K catena chips , which is the production of ATMEL inc , to design the target recognition system .This system can be fit for the real time job, further more, it is adapt to more complex target recognition software.In the hardware design AT94K40-25DQC chip is the core of this. system, TLC5510 and AD7824 were applied here to accomplish the AD sampling, AD9501 is made use of programmable time delay, by us of these chips and other components we buildup an integrated independent digital process and control system. AT94K40-25DQC chip play a core role in our design. In the software design, the whole software system has been designed.Neural Networks is a large-scale parallel distributed signal process system . In this paper, we advance the self-adapted target recognition algorithm, and apply this algorithm into the design of target recognition task of MMW combined sensor. Finally we discuss the corresponding theoretical model and realization precept.
