Agent-based Grid Host Security Protection

The Grid integrates the whole Internet into a supercomputer, it makes the realization of the sharing various of resources. But the precondition of sharing the resource is that the resource must be safe. So, how to make the resource of the grid safe is very important.The Role Based Access Control Model is the main way of the access control system. We introduce it into the Grid.Agent has the advantage of self-determination, sociality, go-aheadism and adaptability. Here, we give it, using its intelligence to maintain the roles in the Grid.In this paper we discuss how to Use Agent to make the access control more effective. As the reference to the current access control, we bring forward the new frame of access control systrm in the Grid, we introduce it to the Grid and we expand it, meanwhile we use the intelligent characteristic of the agent to maintain the roles in the Grid.In the end, we make the above frame realize and simulate it in the basic Grid platform.
