Computer-aided realization for some types of design of experiments Design of experiment is an important component of statistics and plays an important role in scientific research. Systematic theory for design of experiment has been established through many years of exploration. Since the theory of design of experiment is complicated, and involves many types of design of experiments, which are not easily accessible to general researcher. This fact restricts the extensive use of design of experiment in scientific research. The development of statistics has a close connection with the development of computer technology. Many statistic problems are resolvable with the help of computer. The appearance of many excellent softwares makes the application of statistics in a much wider field. The computer is used not only in resolving the problem of data analysis, but also in design of experiment. Most statistic softwares put their emphasis on the aspect of data analysis, but is deficient in the function of design of experiment. This study provides a detailed and systematic introduction about design of experiment, and illustrates the realization for some types of design of experiment of computer. The focus of this researcher is to simplify design of experiment by computer. The main results of this study include: 1. On the basis of consulting many related works, a much clearer idea about the purpose, principle and some types of design of experiment has been attained. 2. A system of computer-aided design for some types of design of experiment has been realized, which has three functions:(1) A basic system platform for data management, with the basic function of data inputting, file opening, saving and printing, providing a basis for further research. (2) The realization of some types of design of experiment by programming, such as orthogonal design, uniform design and so on, and the function of producing some types of randomized digit. (3)The materialization of some tests of statistics, such as one-sample t test, two independent samples t test and one-way ANOVA. 3. This study shows the process of experimental design and the method of how to use this system via providing some examples.
