Digital Tv Based On Dvb Protocol Multiplexer Analysis And Design,

This paper is about the mulplexer of digital television based on DVB(Digital Video Broadcasting) criteria. It shows how the mulpexer can work and how it will be designed. Through this paper, we can know the DVB and MPEG-2's theory, and apply it to practise. It analysis the PSI(Program Association Table) of MPEG-2 and SI(Service Information) of DVB. In addition to these, it supplys a way to develop the mulplexer using FPGA and MCU. This design has two characters: one is that it followed the DVB and MPEG-2. Using the algorithm developed by this paper , the mulplexer can abstract the PSI and SI from the various transport stream .And it can show the statistics of thansport stream. Importantly, it can work out a new PSI and SI asked by the users. Another character is that the mulpexer can produce one stream which includes at most 50 programs through 8 channels. Every channel supply at most 120 Mbps . And the instrument can recognize the way of TS packet. By testing this design, the mulpexer works good.
